What is included with the boat rental?

All of the necessary safety equipment such as fire extinguisher, PFD (lifejacket), etc., and a full tank of gas. Additional water toys are available for rent.

How do I make a reservation?

You can easily make a reservation online by clicking on the boat rental you’d like and following the prompts or contact us by phone at 801-528-7418 or email us at info@arizonajetskirental.com and one of our professional friendly staff will assist you.

What is required to make a reservation?

Full payment is required at the time of your reservation. Please have you credit card handy at that time. Are you splitting the rental payment? We can split your rental price through as many credit cards as you want or need.

Do you need a boat license?

You do not need a boating license to operate one of our rentals. However, you must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid drivers license. All boat operators must be 21 or older with a valid driver license.

Can we launch the boat for you?

Yes, we launch the boats for all customers. We are permitted to launch and retrieve your rentals for you. However you’ll need to address your pick up and drop off times with the staff prior to launching. For early pick up just call us at 801-528-7418.

What happens if the boat breaks down?

We do everything we can while maintaining and taking immaculate care of our rental boats but we can’t foresee everything. Mechanical failures do happen and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. If it is a breakdown due in part to normal mechanical failure, we will issue a refund for the remaining time and any cost accrued in having to have the boat towed in as a result of the failure, or offer you a replacement boat. If the mechanical failure is found to be caused by the renters carelessness/inexperience causing the breakdown/damage, the renter will be held responsible for the full rental and all cost accrued with having the boat towed in and all cost to fix mechanical failure, if applicable.

Do we offer hourly or half day rentals?

No, at this time we do not offer any hourly or half day rental pricing for our boats and watercraft.

What about Insurance?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer insurance to the renter. We are working on that. You are not required to have insurance on the watercraft. If this is something you do want, please look into your own insurance policies, sometimes the will cover a watercraft rental.

Can I pay with cash?

Yes. However, you must use a credit card or debit card for the security deposit when you pick up the watercraft.

What constitutes a rental day?

Our rental day is from 8:00am – 6:00pm Arizona time. Early pick ups will be determined on a case by case basis.

What is our cancellation policy?

Customers must call 801-528-7418 or email us at info@arizonajetskirental.com to cancel their reservation with us! 

No refunds for early returns. There will be no refund if you cancel the day of your reservation. There will be a 90% cancelation fee if you cancel within the day before your reservation. There will be a 60% cancelation fee if you cancel within the week before your reservation. There will be a 30% cancelation fee if you cancel within the month before your reservation. There will be a 15% cancelation fee if you cancel within the quarter (3 months) before your reservation. If you cancel at least 3 months before your reservation, then there will be NO cancelation fee; and, you’ll be fully refunded for the reservation. Remember, rescheduling is not the same as canceling; it’s free to reschedule as long as you don’t wait until the last minute! If for whatever reason you decide you want to change your dates, then it’s always FREE to reschedule your reservation with us as long as you let us know at least a few days before your reservation. There will only be a 30% rescheduling fee if you decide to reschedule within a couple of days before your reservation. Otherwise, there is no fee to reschedule your reservation with Arizona Jet Ski Rental.

Are there any additional fees with the rental price?

Yes, additional to the daily rental rate there is a $500 refundable security deposit and sales tax of 9.9%. All fees and deposits are due at the time of pick up, if your balance is not paid in full we will not send the rental out with you. Entering the park the watercraft is already paid for but you will be responsible in obtaining a park pass for the vehicle towing it.

Do you need to fill the boat with fuel? Where do you refuel at? What kind of fuel does the boat take?

The boat is full of fuel when you pick it up for your rental and YES, you do need to return in full of fuel. On Lake Powell you can fill up at any of the marinas: Wahweap, Antelope Point, Stateline or Dangling Rope. Your last refuel is best to do on land where the fuel cost is much cheaper than on the Lake. Most of the pumps stop at $75 or $100 so you may have to run the fuel pump more than once to get the boat completely full. Our boats take 91 octane or premium when available. If you return your rental boat back to us without refueling it you will be subject to a refueling surcharge on the time it takes us to refuel it and per gallon. We do not recommend this, it is very expensive.

What if I can’t pull or tow the boat myself?

No worries! Our friendly staff delivers and picks up each boat every day for all customers.. Contact us 801-528-7418 or email us at info@arizonajetskirental.com.

What ages are required to wear life jackets (PFD)?

It is the law that children ages 12 and under wear a life jacket (PFD) at all times. Adults or ages 12 and above are required to have a life jacket or (PFD) onboard the boat at all times but do not have to wear them while underway.

What happens if it’s windy or raining?

Weather is unpredictable especially at Lake Powell, and it can change from one moment to the next. Your safety is our number one concern. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel any rental, at or prior to check-in time, due to weather concerns, at OUR SOLE DISCRETION. You will be fully refunded for the time we have cancelled. Anytime after the boat is on the water, if the weather is to change, which it frequently does, we do NOT offer refunds due to those changing weather conditions.

What happens if I return the boat late?

Everyone is given an extra 15 minute forgiveness period on returns. If you are later than 15 minutes we will charge you $60 per hour until the boat is returned.

What about maps of Lake Powell?

You should always carry a map of the lake while your out boating. As the cellphone service is terrible and even non-existent on large portions of Lake Powell. We provide a map in all of our boats but if you’d like to keep a map we offer them for sale in our shop.

How does the security deposit work?

The security deposit is $500 for each boat or watercraft. Security deposits help cover problems or accidents that occur during a reservation, such as low fuel, damages, missing equipment, etc. At the time of the rental, an authorized hold will be secured on the credit or debit card provided. These funds will not be available for your use. The authorization hold will be released when the equipment is returned in the same conditioned as you received it in. The time it takes to release this additional authorization depends on your bank and is beyond the control of Arizona Jet Ski Rental.

Cancellation Policy

Arizona Jet Ski Rental only allows half-down and a half-on-pickup/delivery payments for members of our VIP Houseboat Program. All other renters must pay in full at the time of booking. Payments can be made by Cashiers Check, Cash, Venmo, Paypal, Crypto Currency or any major Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Personal checks are not accepted.
